This fascinating map shows migration trends across Europe, and reveals that most 'foreigners' living in Malta are not African illegal immigrants but British ex-pats.
The new map has been created based on figures from the United Nations.
The data shows that almost one in 10 people living in Malta are British subjects.
The figure is similar in Ireland and in Cyprus where 16 percent of the population holds a UK passport.
People from India are the largest foreign nationals living in the UK, because of Britain's imperial past.
Algerians are the biggest foreign community in France, Moroccans thrive in Spain and Romanians are most common in Italy and Hungary.
The maps are the work of Czech mathematician Jakub Marian.
Other UN data shows Great Britain and Northern Ireland are among the nations which have a high number of immigrants, with more than 7.8 million recorded.
A number of European countries also have similar numbers, with Germany recording nine million, France having 7.5 million and Spain reporting more than six million.
Meanwhile, the U.S. has more than 45 million immigrants - the most of all nations - and Russia has around 11 million.
Saudi Arabia has nine million.
