British holidaymakers have been told their trips to Malta won't be affected by Brexit.
Malta's tourism minister has moved to reassure visitors worried that new passport restrictions would be introduced once the UK leaves the EU.
Edward Zammit Lewis ruled out the need for visas as he addressed Parliament in Valletta.
He told MPs British tourists visiting Malta would 'continue to enjoy the same conditions' after the Brexit.
Latest figures show the number of Brits coming to Malta in August increased by 21,500 - equivalent to the entire population of St Paul's Bay.
Malta is expected to welcome host two million tourists next year from around the world.
